Francis Gilbar (otherwise Francis Delew), aged 25, found guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of John Dutch and David Noble in the parish of Bishops Stortford on 13th May 1785: stealing therefrom 50pounds of raw silk (valued at £20) and 7 pounds of thrown silk (valued at £6).
